The Ark has been trading as an independent health food shop in Ashburton for over 30 years.
he Ark website offers an easy way to buy all your favourite foods and more, offering quality products at value prices. Over 5,000 products are listed on our web site with more than half of them organic, and all either vegetarian or vegan. This huge range includes nuts, seeds, grains, jams, biscuits, baby food, toiletries, tea & coffee, juice, pasta, rice, green cleaning and lots more.
Many other products are available from our shop in Ashburton. Situated in a nineteenth century Grade II listed town house building, the shop is an Aladdin's cave with every bit of shelf space crammed with wonderful things. We aim to provide customers with high quality, ethically sourced products and a courteous service. We endeavour to buy from local producers as far as possible and will do our best to source anything that is not listed on our web site or stocked in our shop. So please ask if you can't find it!
