Walks with History is a walking group based in Plymouth. Our aim is to offer walks around the city whilst looking at the history of the area we are walking through. Monthly walks take place across Plymouth and regular walks take place in places further afield such as the Looe Valley and Saltash in Cornwall.

Our walks take place mainly on Saturday mornings and the start location and times are advertised on this page and on our Facebook and Twitter pages.
We have short walks of up to 30 minutes at least once a month and longer walks of up to 90 minutes in the spring and summer.
If you would like to join us, simply turn up at the meeting point. New walkers will be asked to complete a health questionnaire prior to the walk.
Come along, get healthy, meet new people and learn a bit about Plymouth’s history along the way.
Sometimes the walks will include a visit to another town or historic property / museum where train fares and some small entry charges may apply.
