The Glorious Art House is a vibrant, lively cafe bar and creative centre located in the heart of exeter's independent west-quarter. It forms part of a rich local community of unique shops and creative businesses.
It was opened in 2014 by mother and son Rosy and Derry Tydeman. Having worked as a textile artist for many years, Rosy had a passion for colour and pattern, Derry was an experienced barista with an enthusiasm for hospitality. Together they created The Glorious Art House with the intention of combining great coffee and exciting visual delights which make every visit an out of the ordinary coffee shop experience.
