We’re working to inspire, catalyse and amplify the new economy in Devon. We set up to share good practice, create connections, and spark initiatives that provide for both people and the environment.
New Prosperity Devon is founded on a few principles:
COLLABORATION by working together to amplify shared experience, ideas and intelligence through seminars and interviews.
LISTENING to the needs of citizens, institutions and landscapes, and working to find the common ground between them.
CONNECTION by joining up local stories and community conversations to regional and national issues.
EDUCATING and KNOWLEDGE SHARING, by seeking and amplifying lessons from those who are working to bring about the new economy.

Dear Real Food Customers
We sadly announced last week that the store will be closing at the end of September. We want to wholeheartedly thank our members, customers, volunteers, suppliers, board, staff and friends for the support you have given this community owned business over the past ten years. We hope that our ethos and vision of easily accessible and affordable local food will have a lasting impact on the community. We also hope that something will continue to grow from what we have achieved and set out to do.
We are planning to close our doors at the end of September 2021. We could do with all your support up until that date, so please continue to shop with us in the coming weeks.

Life is busy, and life as a mum is even busier! That is why I’ve created Little Devon – a website for us parents looking for good, honest news, reviews and interesting articles to help make daily life a little easier and sometimes inspiring. Whether it’s discovering local classes to take the little one to and meet new mum friends; a hidden gem café with excellent coffee and cake; or fantastic products born, made or sold in Devon for our kids or even for us mums – Little Devon has got it covered.

Handmade Reusable Cloth Baby Products
Hi, I’m Gemma and I am the founder of Bubbi Skins! I live in lovely Devon with my husband, Joe, 4-year old Olive and 2-year old Albie. I’m currently a full-time mum, attempting to launch Bubbi Skins in my “spare” time! Before children, I worked in renewable energy for over 12 years, and made it my goal to live a bit more sustainably.

Gaia Coffee was opened on the 21st of September 2019, long before we created Gaia Giving but the coffee shop birthed the new Community Interest Company.
When we started Gaia Coffee we never went into it thinking we want to make lots of profit, we wanted experience, we wanted to learn the art of coffee and then give our version of hospitality.
But as the shop progressed and became part of the community it became clear we could make a real positive impact to our community.
