*Call for volunteers*
This is the local organising hub for Green New Deal UK - our aim is to build an ambitious plan for Devon that decarbonises and transforms our economy, creates a fair and safe society, and prioritises investment in the things we need to live decent lives.
We’re in the initial stages of setting up a new hub and looking for people throughout Devon to get involved in fighting for a Green New Deal that represents our unique county and leaves no-one behind in the transition to a zero carbon future.
We want to represent a range of experience, backgrounds and expertise so we can connect with and listen to all communities across Devon, creating inclusive and positive spaces that encourage people to work together to win mass support for the Green New Deal.
We work closely with our national organising team and other regional hubs across the south west and the UK. If you’d like to be involved as a regional volunteer, you’ll be working with a small group of us, a few hours a week, to build the GND Devon movement.
