OkeRail is a forum made up of representatives from a variety of stakeholders. We have campaigned for the re-introduction of the passenger service between Okehampton and Exeter.

With services starting, we will continue campaigning for:

1. Continued improvements with the service
2. The construction of Okehampton Parkway station
3. The reinstatement of the ``Northern`` route to Plymouth via Tavistock

We're nearly there!

And that’s ride2cop26 finished.

  • 570 miles
  • Loads of punctures
  • Lots of weird snack combinations
  • So much fun
  • Some very gritty moments
  • Lots of rain
  • And most of all, so many incredible people who took part in the cargo relay or just joined for the ride for a few miles.

The greatest Thankyou to all the people who were involved.

Onwards to @cop26uk and then turning this adventure into a film (where we aim to share all the amazing stories of the climate crisis and collective action, we have heard along the way)

From towering granite tors to breathtaking rivers, Devon's is an ancient landscape that has drawn and inspired our ancestors. The ancient idea of pilgrimage is as much about the personal inner journey as the destination. Devon Pilgrim follows this living tradition.

We invite you to walk these pilgrim routes, some ancient, some new, which connect tors, stone crosses, holy wells and tiny churches, standing stones and cathedral.

Re-root yourself in Devon's landscape and the spiritual traditions which run like a thread through it. Whatever your journey, we invite you to wander with us.

A small and isolated church, restored and much rebuilt in 1867. Some older fabric remains at the east end, the tower dates from the 15th century. Comprises nave, chancel, north aisle with mortuary chapel, north porch and west tower. The interior dates mainly from the 1867 restoration, including the tiled floors, altar rails, choir stalls and pulpit. Seating includes some 18th century box pews.

The north aisle contains the family box pew of the Earls of Portsmouth, which now contains the organ. The font is Norman, restored in 1919.

There are two significant 17th century monuments to the Chichester family, and a large 18th century monument to William Fellowes in Italian marble.

All Saints Eggesford EX18 7QU

Little Dart Mission Community Set amid the rolling mid-Devon countryside, the gargoyles set at each corner of the tower present an intimidating feature peering ferociously down on all who enter the church. Frequent visitors appreciate the quiet and peaceful atmosphere of this country church, which is always open.

Dating from the late 13th century, the first recorded priest is Sir William de Thellebrigge, instituted rector on 2nd May 1280. The present building was largely restored between 1871 and 1873 and, whilst it retains some 14th century features, it is described as largely 15th century.

A traditional monthly Eucharist, Morning Prayer and additional services are held throughout the year.
