Fullabrook CIC was set up to administer a Community Fund established by Devon Wind Power Ltd, who own Fullabrook Wind Farm. The CIC operates totally independently of Devon Wind Power and its parent company, ESB Wind Development UK Ltd.
The Fund started with £1 million when the wind farm began generating electricity in 2011, and a further annual payment of £100,000 is due from Devon Wind Power each year that the wind farm generates power

What we can fund
- Projects or services that show community benefit to residents of the 13 parishes in our area of benefit (Ashford, Berrynarbor, Bittadon, Braunton, East Down, Georgeham, Heanton Punchardon, Ilfracombe, Marwood, Mortehoe, Shirwell, West Down, and West Pilton)
- Organisations that have not-for-profit aims, and (with the exception of very small grant applications) have a constitution, and bank account in the name of the organisation.
- We prefer to support project costs, and only very rarely fund core costs such as running costs or staff salaries. We may also consider applications for repayable grants or loans.
- Grants should generally be considered as one-off payments, and there should be no expectation of repeat funding. Thought should be given to the sustainability of the project beyond the support of the CIC.
- We only rarely offer 100% of a projects costs, and expect that applicants will make a contribution to the project, either from their own reserves, fundraising or grants.
